About the Event
Every one of us is in a different set of circumstances right now around how comfortable we feel coming together to share air, sensual touch and sexy times together.
With the earth as our lover, no matter what our human connections are, we are never alone!
You can come to this event to meet one-on-one with lover earth. You can choose to share this EcoSexual experience with a special partner. Or, you can gather a select pod of people, up to the gathering guidelines of your area, who are feeling ready to jump in with nature together in person.
You pick your COVID comfort zone and then we all create a natural sex positive experience as a world wide community.
We are gathering for 3 hours (with a mid event break) so that we can truly play in and with nature as a lover . . . with enough time for all the information and experiences being shared to land in our bodies, minds and hearts.
Every activity offered will have an enjoyable option for solo play with nature, coupled pleasure exploration and group experiences. Everything we share on line will be to L1 guidelines so we can all gather comfortably together. When your camera is off during solo, partnered or group exercises in your own location - or when you are in break out rooms with other leveled members - you select how much you want to and are able to make the exercises offered into clothing optional L2 sensual and L3 sexual energy experiences.
We’ll be exploring all our natural loving options with plenty of food for thought and interactive offerings from these Sex Positive World facilitators:
- EcoSexual Portland poet, Karen Hery and her partner, Walker O’Rourke
- Practitioner of EcoSexual Love, Dr Serena Gaia from Italy
- International performer and teacher of embodied movement, Saffire Bouchelion
- and SaRina Daly-Goode, offering EcoSexual embodiment practices in daily living.
You can Zoom in from the out-of-doors or from an enclosed space and still benefit from everything our EcoSexual facilitators have to offer.
Be sure to have preselected some items from nature to have with you for this experience: some type of rock, shell or piece of wood, some type of leaf or flower and something else of your choice from nature like a feather or seed pod.
We’ll begin our time together by sharing with each other what changes happen in our lives when we embrace the earth as a lover.
We’ll discuss what ecosexuality is and explore the interwoven connection between love, sex and ecology.
We’ll help you uncover what genuinely works for you from:
- Relaxing into your natural surroundings.
- Experiencing pleasure in touching and being touched by nature.
- Sharing and hearing ecosexual experiences including performance poetry and spoken word.
- Going on a guided date, not just in nature, but with nature.
- Seeing our role in nature and with nature as a symbiotic lovership towards better support and stewardship of the earth and all her many resources.
Breakout rooms will be offered for solo and partnered people to meet up with others, if you so choose, for our embodied exercises and dates with nature. You can also choose to stay on your own as a solo lover or couple with the earth or take the guided activities on just with the people you came with for more of a focus on in person connections.
Loose clothing, child-like curiosity, warm enough layers to be outside for all or part of this event and a wet spot for nature are encouraged.
This event is being promoted on the Sex Positive World website and as a Level 1 - 3 event in Sex Positive chapter event listings open to members and guests. Please be aware that, while we will be asking everyone for the levels of emotional care and confidentiality that we expect at all Sex-Positive World events, it is important that you also feel comfortable finding and setting your own boundaries in an interactive group environment.
You have the option of picking up your Zoom link for free or a sliding scale event contribution of $5, $10 or $15. Thank you for supporting SPW and your local chapter in the ways that you can.
Here's a taste of some EcoSexual poetry written by Karen Hery during COVID times:
What exactly is the difference
Between lying on the grass
And lying with the grass?
Right now we are so much more solo
And quarantined
Human being to human being
With this virus among us
We are dangerous to each other
But nobody. Nobody.
At least lately
Has died because a tree has sneezed
I guess it’s time now
To really figure out how
To date outside Our Kind.
