With the earth as our lover, we are never alone.  Join up with people involved in Sex Positivity around the world to learn more about the practices and beliefs of an EcoSexual life. Explore your natural loving options with EcoSexual Portland poet, Karen Hery; practitioner of EcoSexual Love, Dr Serena Gaia; international performer and teacher of embodiment, Saffire Bouchelion and former Sex-Positive Portland leader, Walker O’Rourke.

Zoom space will open 15 minutes before starting time to allow everyone adequate time to arrive and get settled.  You can Zoom in from the out-of-doors or from an enclosed space and still benefit from everything this event has to offer.

Be sure to bring some of nature along with you for this experience.  If you can, arrive with several objects close at hand: some type of rock, shell or piece of wood, some type of leaf or flower and something else of your choice from nature like a feather or seed pod.

We’ll begin our time together by sharing with each other what changes happen in our lives when we embrace the earth as a lover. Please note this event is at 10am PST, 11am MDT, 12pm CDT, and 7pm GMT+2 and lasts for 2.5 hours.

We’ll discuss what ecosexuality is and explore the interwoven connection between love, sex and ecology.

We’ll help you uncover what genuinely works for you from:

• Relaxing into your natural surroundings.
• Experiencing pleasure in touching and being touched by nature.
• Sharing and hearing ecosexual experiences including performance poetry and spoken word.
• Falling more deeply in love with your personal ecosystem and its amazing symbiotic elements
• Going on a guided date, not just in nature, but with nature.

We will use the breakout rooms of Zoom to connect in groups of three or more people at times during the event.  If you are Zooming in with more than one person, please consider having separate devices for the breakout room times.

Loose clothing, child-like curiosity, warm enough layers to be outside for all or part of this event and a wet spot for nature are encouraged.

This event is being promoted on the Sex Positive World website, Sex Positive World private Facebook page, the private Facebook pages of our Sex-Positive chapters and as a Level 1 event in chapter event listings open to members and guests.  Please be aware that, while we will be asking everyone for the levels of emotional care and confidentiality that we expect at all Sex-Positive World events, it is important that you also feel comfortable finding and setting your own boundaries in an open group environment.

Those of us who are able are contributing a sliding scale amount between $5 and $15 to attend this event.  All proceeds go towards the operating costs of Sex-Positive World.
