We all need to be able to talk about consent and how to build consent culture. Most of us have learned that 'no means no' and 'yes means yes', but consent goes way beyond that. Join us for a conversation about the foundations of consent so you can practice consent more in all aspects of your daily life. Participation is very encouraged and your own questions are centered, whether they're about a first hug, a new relationship, a workplace, or sex.

About our Facilitator:

Draven (they/them) is a Trauma-Informed Sexuality Educator with Dynamic Education and Counseling and a Ph.D. in Human Sexuality student with the California Institute of Integral Studies. From a playful and authentic base, Draven weaves research and stories to teach individuals how to process one's trauma while being supported by a therapist. While teaching, they knit stories in to include intersectional identities and how oppressive systems affect individuals and communities. As a Trauma-Informed Sexuality Educator, Draven coaches within a neurodivergent framework; including a trauma-informedness workshop series, sexuality education, and consent practices. Draven also volunteers at The Consent Academy as a Consent Educator and at Sex Positive Olympia/Queer Space as a Founder and LGBTQ+ Liaison.

Our tech support person and event angel for the evening will be Jamie Love, Sex Positive World's Executive Director, zooming in from Portland Oregon. She enjoys supporting conversations about sex positivity worldwide.
