About the Event

Come to the 6th Annual Sex Positive World Convergence (affectionately known by many as SEX CAMP) just 20 miles outside of PORTLAND (30 minutes from the PDX airport) for workshops, parties, swimming naked in the river, and dancing around the fire as we come out of the pandemic and into a changed world.

The theme this year is Community with a Capital C: community centered around a commitment to living differently, living aligned with each other and nature, and a commitment to each other's and the planet’s well-being.

There is room for everyone, vaccinated and unvaccinated, with clear communication of personal boundaries as we roam the 40+ acres of farm and forest, collect eggs for breakfast and help to harvest dinner from an organic farm.

The main purpose of this event is community building, exploring and defining sex-positivity, sharing our visions and talents, and enjoying the fruits of our labor.

Because of the increased transmission risks of gathering in larger numbers and with Delta variant cases rising in both vaxinated and unvacinated people, we have made the decision to ask all event participants, and everyone living at Three Goats Farm, to take a rapid COVID test just before traveling to or entering the event.  We encourage mask wearing in indoor gathering areas as well.

COVID tests have been ordered and will be made available to all at no cost from a pick up area in SE Portland and in Los Angeles.  If you have ready access to rapid test kits, please secure your own test to help make sure the free tests offered get to those who need them.

It’s great if you can help pick someone up from the airport if you are coming from in town and share rides in from in town as well.

ACTIVITIES are offered by all the wonderful people coming and will include:

  • Sexy Cooking Class
  • Morning Naked Yoga (or wear what you like)
  • Guided Events (ice-breakers, sensation play, mutual masterbation)
  • Open mic storytelling/performance/poetry
  • Ecosex Exploration (nature as our lover)
  • Member-led classes and workshops (coming out of COVID, flogging, rope bondage, tantra and more)
  • Community building exercises
  • Massaging and snuggles
  • Evening Themed Parties

This is the planned EVENTS SCHEDULE subject to some changes.

WHEN:

EARLY BIRDS: People coming from out of town, helping with set up or wanting a longer stay are welcome to arrive on Thursday. Lunch and dinner will be served on Thursday and there will be an informal evening gathering.

All the main, organized activities start at 10am on Friday. The last event is lunch on Sunday.

COST:

Just like years past, financial support is by donation only! We recommend $50 to $150 per person, pay what you can afford. All proceeds after expenses go to Three Goats Farm, SPW and the main host chapter - Sex Positive Portland. You can register and pay through the Sex Positive World website or with cash when you arrive, and your donation beyond the base value of $20 per day will be tax deductible!

Limited indoor and outdoor porch accommodations are available. Message Gabriella at to make these arrangements - first come, first served.

Everyone else is camping on the land either up by the lodge or down by the river.  Larger motorhomes need to park up near the lodge, smaller motor homes and other camping vehicles can make the dirt road drive down to the river.

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Camping stuff or an RV or trailer
  • Water shoes, towels, and sunscreen
  • Water bottles and thermal cups
  • Fun and sexy costumes
  • Your own food and libations (bring a cooler) or

pay $25 to $30 per day in advance to be on the meal plan (PayPal to sacredsensual@yahoo.com). Highly recommend this since the food is orgasmic!!! Organic, mostly grown right here on the property.

Also, bring your talent, ideas, and enthusiasm. Much of what happens here is whatever we co-create. If you have a workshop or event you want to lead, contact Karen Hery at karenspwsec@gmail.com

Everyone will help prep and clean up after meals, set up and takedown, AV support, chopping wood and carrying water. This is a community offering - we're in this bed together!!! Be prepared to sign up for one or two small shifts when you arrive.

COVID SAFETY:

We support personal choice and clear, informed consent.  Come prepared to share your vaccination status, how you have limited your risk to exposure for the 10 days before this event and having pre thought out your own desired boundaries with others who are vaccinated or not vaccinated.  Maintain 6 feet from others until you have fully discussed and negotiated closer boundaries.  COVID tests were originally not required to attend but, because of the increased transmission risks of gathering in larger numbers and with Delta variant cases rising in both vaxinated and unvacinated people, we have made the decision to ask all event participants, and everyone living at Three Goats Farm, to take a rapid COVID test just before traveling to or entering the event.  We encourage mask wearing as well.

There will be spaces for people to gather for meals and sexy play who feel most comfortable with everyone around them being fully vaccinated and places for people more open to a mix of vaxxed and not vaxxed.

WHO TO BRING:

Your sexy sex-positive friends and family over 21.  This event will be attended by people from sex positive world chapters, people who have been involved in sex positive world events but do not belong to a chapter and by the community members who work and live at Three Goats Farm.

Q&A:

Can I come for just a day?

No, that's too much coming and going in the neighborhood. Two days is the shortest stay possible. Plus you'll miss out on too much and the rest of us will be sad.

Can I bring a newbie?

Yes, but only someone you know well and you will be responsible for their behaviour. You can't leave them here if you leave early.  If you are a relative newbie yourself, we recommend that you don't invite someone even newer than you to then try to steward well through the event.

Will the level system apply?

Yes, there will be times and places announced for different level activities and, especially because of COVID holding some of our members back from leveling up this past year, opportunities will be offered to level up at the event, just for this event.  You will still need to follow leveling up steps in your own chapter.

What about drugs and alcohol?

Do what pleases you that is safe and comfortable for you and others too.  Everyone needs to maintain enough sobriety to give and receive informed consent.

Can I bring my own food?

Yes, there is a meal plan available, amazing food for ridiculously little money, but you are also welcome to take care of your own food needs. We will set up an outdoor kitchen your you to prepare you meals and have limited places for cold food storage. Best to bring a cooler and ice.

Will I have to volunteer?

YES! We are a do-aucracy, a volunteer member organization of servant leaders who enjoy doing for others as much or more than we like receiving. We are generous, caring, sharing, and talented as fuck! We have a volunteer schedule slots you can choose from, and even if you are a fancy shmancy group organizer, workshop leader, or DJ, you still have to do a shift, cooking, washing dishes, or taking out the garbage. Egalitarianism is one of our hallmarks

Do I have to wear clothes?

Only some of the time, we'll tell you at Orientation. But, not in the forest, at the beach, parts of the house, the back yard, or in the hot tub.
